Spring/Summer 2012 fashion is all about color and we are loving it. For a few seasons now we have been playing it safe and going with the traditional earth tones and staying true to the color wheel and analogous colors (blue and green for example). However, the Spring/Summer 2012 fashion trend is exploring the unthinkable and experimenting with complimentary colors such as orange and blue or yellow and purple. So this summer don’t be scared to where missed matching colors. It almost seems the crazier the color scheme the better and it falls in perfectly with the already blooming color blocking trend we have been seeing over the last few fashion seasons. However, if you are not so bold to try the absurd then simply go with earth tone colors like a khaki pencil skirt and add color with your favorite bright orange blouse or accessories such as your purse and/or belt. This way you fall inline with the currently trending fashion trends and you haven’t completely gone color crazy. Pastels are also trending this Spring and Summer for those who enjoy colors a little more toned down.
